CREA Wary Of Incoming Mortgage Rules
The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) has downgraded it sales forecast for 2018 because it is wary of incoming mortgage rules.
- CREA predicts the national average price of a home will rise to $510,400, an increase of 4.2% from 2016.
- Forecasting a 5.3 per cent drop in national sales to 486,600 units next year
- National home price is expected to slip by 1.4 per cent in 2018 to $503,100.
