Mother’s Day Workshop

Bring your children to our new Growing Chefs! HQ (460 King Street) to help them get their creative juices flowing to celebrate Mothers! Growing Chefs! is offering two individual classes on Saturday, May 13: Children aged 5-8 years old are welcome to attend our first session, WITH a parent or guardian over age 18, from 10am – 12pm. Children 9-12 years old are welcome to attend our second session on their own, from 1-3pm.

Each session will include: A hands-on food session: each participant will make rhubarb jam and a rhubarb loaf to take home. A craft project: they will each plant a seedling and create a personalized Mother’s Day card for Mom! Cost to attend this event is $20 per child (no additional cost for parent to attend first session with child). There are ONLY 20 spots open for each session. First come, first served?
